The publishing house of the Arquia Foundation is characterised by its work to disseminate architectural knowledge, by the consistent editorial policy, with a clear design and content that is known within both the academic and professional spheres.

arquia/thesis

It includes some of the most relevant doctoral theses that have been carried out at Spanish Schools of Architecture. Studies arising from the distillation of a long research project containing original work on the issues they face. Many of the published titles are from the Architecture Thesis biennial competition.

La Cimbra

The theory of architecture no longer has the solidity and compactness of the old treaties. Their current condition is lighter and more volatile and is occasionally manifested in articles, debates or interviews. In order to prevent this knowledge from being lost or dissipated, this collection wishes to compile the contributions of some authors who have developed intense thoughts on architecture.

arquia/topics

A space that is open to architectural reflection. A collection that originated from research work; difficult to market, but of unquestionable interest, normally beyond the reach of society. This collection aims to fill this vacant space by concentrating editorial works that are dissimilar and not necessarily academic in nature.

arquia/e-topics

A collection of digital publications in webapp format that can be accessed directly or downloaded for free by registered users on any type of device. It incorporates features that allow interaction in real time, as well as the periodic updating of content, becoming a dynamic collection that is in continuously development.

No Judgment

It focuses on the publication of manuscripts that, because of their format and content, brief and concise, have the goal of disseminating and bringing architecture and law, as well as other related disciplines, closer to the non-specialised citizen, to contribute and strengthen a critical spirit and curiosity No Judgment, as Walt Whitman said: "Be curious, not judgmental"

Other editions

Arquia Foundation edits and publishes, in collaboration with other national and international institutions, catalogues of architecture exhibitions and biennials, yearbooks, atlases and guides of architecture, etc... among which are the Bienalle di Venecia, Biennial of Spanish and Latin American Architecture, biennial of the landscape; as well as the editions arquia/next and other architectural awards, thanks to which we are part of the current architecture.
