The results of the Sixth Survey of Students of Architecture were gathered from the answers given by the participants in the module of architecture students to the questionnaire of the 2014 Arquia Survey, carried out during the last four months of said year.
When the call closed on 31 December, a total of 4,397 participants had completed the questionnaire. The questionnaires were subjected to a process of review and validation, and those who fulfilled the requirements set out in the terms and conditions could participate.
The study was directed and prepared by sociologist Emilio Luque, professor at the UNED's Faculty of Political Science and Sociology.
During the last four months of the year 2014, the Arquia Foundation drafted the Sixth Survey for Architecture Students within the framework of the 2014 Arquia Survey.
Closed on 31 December, 638 students from different Spanish Schools of Architecture participated. The questionnaires have been subjected to a review and validation process, and those who meet the requirements set out in the terms and conditions may participate.
The aim of the Survey for Architecture Students is to find out the structure and opinion of said group of students regarding education, the profession and their expectations in the field of architecture.
These surveys, which are carried out every three years, have been convened five times before, and have served as guidelines for change and stability over the last ten years.
The study was carried out by sociologist Emilio Luque, professor at the UNED's Faculty of Political Science and Sociology, from the answers given by the participants in the survey's online questionnaires, which were anonymous and confidential.
Students registered in any Spanish School of Architecture could participate (students from foreign Universities who were temporarily studying in a Spanish School of Architecture through the ERASMUS programme or similar could not participate).

Among the participants who completed and sent in the survey, a draw was made in July 2015, before a notary, for three trips for two people to New York which was held from 31 March to 5 April 2015, and ten sets of two books and two documentaries published by Arquia Foundation. Employees and members of the governing bodies of Grupo Arquia as well as their immediate relatives were excluded from participating in the draw.
The draw took place before a notary public on 30 January 2015.
