2 six-month tuition grants are awarded for the creative industries nursery Factoría Cultural in Matadero, Madrid, aimed at architects who have graduated from a Spanish School of Architecture and who want to start their own business in any of the fields related to their profession.
Top architects who qualified from any of the higher technical schools of architecture in Spain, international architects who qualified in Spain and architects who qualified in other countries but whose qualifications have been validated in Spain, with a business idea, regardless of the stage it is at (pre-incubation, incubation or acceleration).

Registration in this call can only be done online via the Arquia Foundation platform. To be able to start the registration, prior accreditation on the AF platform is required for those who are not already AF users or who have not yet been accredited. AF user accreditation.

It must be an innovative idea and provide a new working approach.
Potential impact. It must make a significant contribution in the field of architecture.
Viability, the project must have clear and realistic objectives, careful planning and a detailed budget.
Capacity, the applicant must possess extensive knowledge and qualifications. They must also demonstrate their ability to successfully carry out the project.
Applications will be evaluated by the jury, taking the following criteria into consideration:
Academic and professional CV of the applicant
Report of the project proposed for the grant
The grant includes training and mentoring services in various areas related to entrepreneurship, a customised business plan, 100 Mb of symmetrical Internet and legal, financial and marketing advice.
Besides the Factoría Cultural services and resources, the Arquia Foundation will make two advisers, who are renowned in the field of managing professional development in architecture, available for the architect interns, who will tutor the project through face-to-face and online sessions.
The Arquia Foundation will cover travel expenses for the journey to Madrid (one return ticket by plane, train or vehicle), they will provide coverage under the terms of the travel insurance policy contracted through Arquiseguros brokerage, as well as make the appropriate contributions to social security social.
The Arquia Foundation will pay the enrolment amount directly to Factoría Cultural from the grant. Should the entrepreneur grant recipient want to work with a team of one, two or more people, the following amounts will be invoiced to the interested parties:Factoría Cultural / Vivero de Industrias Creativas is a space for the creation and development of business initiatives in different areas of the arts, communication and new technologies, all included in the cultural and creative industries. Factoría Cultural is also aimed at non-profit organisations and associations whose activity falls under this sector.
It is a nursery that was created to promote and implement innovative and sustainable projects in a working environment that is pleasant, human, open, dynamic, user-oriented and that welcomes and supports entrepreneurs who want to make a creative project or idea a reality.
Factoría Cultural aims to create an ecosystem that facilitates access for the resident entrepreneur to the resources, services and training required to develop their idea or project in ideal conditions.
In this sense, the aim of Factoría Cultural is to become a national and international benchmark in the world of specialised accelerators and nurseries for the cultural and creative industries.
