I Seminario Internacional de Arquitectura Moderna y Fotografía 2015

For more than one hundred years, photography has been established as the main channel of communication between architects and society, and among architects themselves, with an undeniable impact on both the visual and the technical and social aspects of architectural projects. Recently, relevant publications have been issued on the subject and numerous exhibitions and seminars have been held.

In this first seminar, the FORM+ research group seeks to contribute to the international debate by opening up a perspective on Latin America, its architectural heritage and its visual reference. This activity is promoted by the FORM+ Research Group, within the framework of the research project entitled: Recovery and dissemination of the photographic archives of Modern Architecture for the development of an operational visual heritage (HAR2013-45096-R), financed by the State Programme for Research, Development and Innovation oriented towards the challenges of Society by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness.
