From 1 February 2018 you can register for the 4th call of the Arquia Entrepreneurship and Innovation Grant for architecture for 2018. This grant is awarded for the development of a business project in the Creative Industries Incubator/Cultural Factory in Matadero, Madrid.
The project may encompass any area of the architectural profession.
The grant is intended to promote the culture of entrepreneurship, support the creation of business initiatives and drive innovation in areas related to Architecture, as an engine of economic growth. It also attempts to provide candidates with knowledge and tools that complement their academic training, and give impetus to new entrepreneurial projects arising from values such as effort, drive and innovation.
Participation is open to architects with degrees from any Spanish School of Architecture and to multidisciplinary teams, composed mainly of architects, with a business idea that is viable, creative and innovative.
The grant provides a subsidy of €7000 and the enrolment for a place at the Vivero de Industrias Creativas Factoría Cultural in Matadero, Madrid for a period of six months. As well as the services and resources of the Factoría Cultural, the Arquia Foundation will provide the architect grant recipient with an adviser who is renowned in the field of managing professional development in architecture who will tutor the project through face-to-face and online sessions.

La Fundación Arquia ya tiene propuesta ganadora de la I Convocatoria de la Dirección Editorial del #blogFQ 2024-2025. Habiendo recibido un total de 48 candidaturas, y por el alto nivel de las propuestas, la deliberación y decisión del jurado resultó complicada pero igualmente enriquecedora.
