Barcelona Forum 2004. Dialogues. City and citizens of the 21st century

The Fórum Universal de las Culturas – Barcelona 2004 created a dialogue platform entitled 'City and citizens of the 21st century' that focused on the problems and challenges of cities.

Researchers, political representatives, critics, institutions, and professionals from remarkably wide geographical horizons debated issues related to the creation and management of urban spaces. They dealt with pressing issues such as mobility, collective space as an articulation of scales, the relationship between urbanism and political, economic and cultural power, landscape, architecture and the plastic arts.

This series presents the recording of some of these dialogues, which were aimed at establishing alternative strategies that would contribute to a new way of making a city.
