Arquia/masters presentation

Arquia Foundation publicly released the presentation arquia/masters on 25 March 2014, at the Real Academia de las Bellas Artes de San Fernando, in Madrid.

The RABASF welcomed the three architects who were the protagonists of the first presentation of this collection -ORIOL BOHIGAS, RAFAEL MONEO and JUAN NAVARRO BALDEWEG- in a ceremony co-chaired by Mr. Rafael Catalá Polo, Secretary of State for Infrastructure, Transport and Housing and by Mr. Javier Navarro, President of Arquia Foundation.

Javier Navarro, President of Arquia Foundation, presented the new collection: a cultural programme conceived, produced and edited by Arquia Foundation consisting of recordings of interviews (audiovisual monographs on DVD) with leading architects of contemporary architecture. The purpose of the collection is to enable outstanding masters of architecture to pass on their thoughts, in their own words, to future generations of architects.

After the presentation, a trailer was shown featuring the best moments from the interviews in the first three volumes of the collection, and a colloquium was held, moderated by Luis Fernández Galiano, in which the guest masters expressed their thoughts and opinions on architecture.
