The "Unfinished" exhibit by the Spanish Pavilion for the Venetian Biennal 2016 aims to reflect on these unfinished architectural projects to discover virtues that can become design strategies. "Unfinished" aims to generate creative speculation on the subversion of past conditions to produce a positive contemporary intervention.
The purpose of this Ideas Competition is to develop of a new project that responds to the "Unfinished" argument proposed by the Spanish Pavilion for the Venetian Biennal 2016, within any of the categories set out above. The situations can be real or entail generic project development that responds to a current recognizable situation.
